The Battle of the Badges returned for its third year in late May, bringing the fun as the Lathrop Police Department took on the Lathrop-Manteca Fire District in a friendly but fierce softball showdown.

The community showed up in full force to enjoy classic ballpark eats, refreshing Italian ice, and exciting raffle prizes — plus the chance to register for the upcoming 209 Heart & Stroke Walk with American Heart Association Northern California!

After a high-energy game filled with big hits and even bigger heart, Lathrop PD walked away with a 6-4 win — way to go, officers!
