The New Redwood Café
This iconic restaurant has been physically moved from Modesto to be reconstructed and expanded at River Islands. It will include multiple wine cellars, dining rooms, an outdoor terrace and an events center.

Sutter Health is bringing access to quality healthcare and specialty services for our River Islands residents with a state-of-the-art state medical building.

For nearly 40 years, Susan Dell’Osso, the President of River Islands, and the Cambay Group, have been at the helm driving the ship.
The Cambay Group, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Somerston Holdings Limited, a privately owned investment group. Its origin dates back to the 1850’s when the family was in the shipping business. Property development is now its primary focus.

We have been working on the master plan for River Islands since 1989. A project of this size requires a lot of patience, perseverance, commitment, and top-quality people who have been with us since the beginning. This is who we are, and we are in it for the long haul.
