Keeping Our Residents Safe
The River Islands respondents are part of our community.
Lathrop-Manteca Fire Department Station 35
River Islands has a state-of-the-art fire station within the community. Station 35 is one of the few local stations that can house two crews. It is also the home of the district’s administrative operations.
The River Islands community also benefits from a beautifully designed and furnished community room, which can be used for club meetings, civic organizations, and for groups like Neighborhood Watch to meet.
“The addition of Fire Station 35 will reduce response time to River Islands by more than 60 seconds… and in an industry measured by seconds, this is HUGE.”
– Chief Gene Neely
Lathrop Police Department Headquarters
Lathrop Police Services has its all-new Administrative Headquarters in River Islands. Located west of Bradshaw’s Crossing Bridge, the building is one of the first things newcomers to River Islands see upon entering the community.
Since the police staff uses this facility to pick up and drop off cars at the beginning of each shift, there is an active and visual presence of uniformed police officers at the site daily, making response efficient for our residents.
