I hereby irrevocably consent to and authorize the use by River Islands Development, LLC (“RID”), or its members, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, licensees, successors, and assigns, of any and all photographs identified as an entry or entries in the 2025 River Islands Photo Contest taken of me or submitted by me including derivative works thereof (collectively “Images”), and any reproduction of Images in any form in any media whatsoever, whether now known or hereafter discovered or developed in perpetuity. I represent and warrant that the Image is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If the Image submitted infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, I will be disqualified at the sole discretion of River Islands Development. If the content of the Image is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, I shall, at my sole expense, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless River Islands Development from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which River Islands Development may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

I also consent to the use of my name or likeness, or an assigned fictitious name, in connection with the exhibition, distribution, merchandising, advertising, and/or publicizing of Images by RID for any lawful purpose.

I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge RID, its members, officers, employees, agents, affiliates licensees, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, actions, suits, or demands of any kind or nature whatsoever in connection with the use of Images and the reproduction thereof as stated herein including any and all claims, liability, petitions, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons may make while acting on your behalf, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not. I understand and agree that RID will be the exclusive owner of all rights including but not limited to all copyrights in and to the Images in whole or in part, in perpetuity, in any medium now known or hereafter discovered or developed, to so use in any manner, in its sole discretion, without any obligation to me.

I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished product or use of the Images or any reproductions thereof, including written or electronic copy by RID.

I acknowledge that since my participation with RID is voluntary, I am not entitled to and hereby waive any right to any financial compensation. I waive any right to royalties or any compensation arising from or related to using the Images.

By submitting one or more Images, you are granting authorization to River Islands Development, LLC, the right to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, and make use of such Images to be used for any lawful purpose. This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats, and markets now known or later discovered or developed.
