Schools at River Islands
Our kindergarten through eighth grade schools are part of the River Islands Academies, a charter school system within the Banta Unified School District. Three K-8 schools are already open, with a fourth under construction and is set to open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Our new River Islands High School opened to students for the 2024-2025 school year. Each school has a one-to-one device program that provides students with their own electronic device.

Academic Excellence
Among many awards received, the River Islands Academies is recognized among California’s top charter schools with scores well above San Joaquin County and State averages in the SBAC, which tests for college readiness.

In our high schools, we have our Career Technical Student Organizations that provide our students with career pathways to explore and intern opportunities to test out their skills and meet with industry leaders.
