Islanders Field is a home run hit for our community here at River Islands!

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art community baseball stadium, known as Islanders Field, is officially open !

On May 22nd, residents and City of Lathrop officials and staff attended an Opening Day celebration and official ribbon-cutting with hot dogs, ice cream and a friendly game between the local Lathrop-Manteca Fire District and Lathrop Police Department. For the record, fun was had on both sides of the dugout!

River Islands Development President Susan Dell’Osso shared her excitement on Opening Day of the new field: “Building a landmark spot like Islanders Field gives us all a place to gather, to root for our teams, enjoy our neighbors, and relax together.” Her excitement about the new addition is shared and felt throughout the entire community!

Located in the Town Center of River Islands, the new baseball facility is privately owned and operated. With 500 stadium seats, there’s plenty of room to sit back and catch a game all season long and for many years to come. Don’t forget to grab something good from the snack station, too!
